What is your religion? How did you come to believe the way you do? Why did all those women stay at that Texas polygamist site? There are so many different religions in the world and it would be interesting to discover how people came to believe the way they do.

I believe the things I do through common sense. I sit and think, then come to a conclusion. Of course I consider other peoples beliefs as well, and see how well they would suit me. Most of the time they don't, occasionally I will find something I agree with.

Do you ever do any research into the history of religion? I was raised in a certain faith from the time I was born. But....I've discovered some falacies and questioned the religion. Since then, I've changed my thoughts and beliefs a little bit.

I'm not religious but I'm very spiritual and my beliefs are a blend of Buddhism, Paganism, Vodou and Native Amercian Spirituality....How did I get here...well I've always been here I just didnt realize it until my mid 20s As for the Cult in Texas (or any cult for that matter) I often think that many of the ppl who join are missing something when they meet with these leaders and they are desperate etc etc so when these master con-men (which is EXACTLY wht they are) start talking these innocent, confused ppl get sucked right in...

My religion was taught to me from childhood. Since I had most of my questions answered, most of which was philosophical(the other answers could only be attained through enlightenment), and most had a lot of common sense in it. Though there were some practices in my religion in the earlier days, I learned that they were introduced by selfish persons and so learnt to discard them and I don't follow those rules. So, although some might say that I don't follow the rules completely, this path works for me.
