Nothing is better than owning your own web site and paying for it. You then have complete control over it if it becomes successful.

I started out on free websites over ten years ago and soon realised its limitations.

I then bought a domain name and paid for it to be hosted. You are not talking about a lot of money - £24 for a domain name for 2 years and then about $6 a month for hosting.

Look up free websites under any search engine. They will give you a listing of free and trial websites all for free. Choose what you like. Also, some companies that you will work for will give you your own website to promote. If this is what you want. You can also try, www.tripod.com. I believe that you can build your own website for free.

Try checking yahoo publisher. But its not free. Brathost.com gives you opportunity to build a website and place google adds no it. Try using it. Best of luck:)

I dont think you will get a free website. You need to pay a minimal amount of around Rs 1000 for a minimum webspace per year. You can open a blog for free and post your contents, what do you say?

Since you quite obviously have web access then you may have free web space provided by your ISP.
i suggest that you visit the website of your ISP and check what your internet package actually comprises of, you may find that you have web space waiting for you.

If you do a Google Search for "Free Website" you will find many available, but one that springs to mind is 110mb.com.

However it really does depend on how you want to use your website, as to what is the best web hosting option.

The old adage 'you get what you pay for' is true as far as web hosting goes! You may find that the 'free' website are free for only very basic web pages, some include banner advertising, some charge your for add on basic services, and often the web pages are 'down' and not always available.

These days, the cost of reliable and professional web hosting has dropped significantly. Many well known and reliable hosts are charging as little as $6.95 per month.

If you have a Gmail account, free web pages are available with very easy to use templates. And of course, many people are now using blogs as a web presence, and these are freely available on line from Blogger.com and Wordpress, to name a few.

You cannot get a free website. But you can get a free blog from blogspot. Many sites are offering free websites but they wil be with their sub domain. Just search on google for it. And you will get a lot of sites offering this.
