I just received an email from Toys R Us about their own new brand of "natural" toys.
They say there are environmentally friendly because they are crafted from renewable sources and are safer for your kids.
Will you buy toys from this new line of toys?
Do you think your child will enjoy playing with toys like these?
Do you take into consideration how environmentally friendly a toy is when you are toy shopping?

I never really thought about how environmentally friendly children's toys were until all of the recent lead paint scares. I really started looking into how and where these toys were made and how many chemicals and different plastics were used.
Plus all the cardboard and plastic packaging. Most of which gets thrown into the garbage and not recycled. It seems like such a waste.
I think as parents we really need to focus on issues like this. Our children are the future and we need to ensure that their future is a bright one.
