why Mahatma Gandhi became a idel person?what did he do for india?

I am proud to tell he is my country and he did everything for his nation and he used to implement lot of plans against those people and he gave his best to the nation and we showed us great path with great principles and how to live very simple and how to think very highly so we need to follow his principles to develop our nation and not only for the nation if any nation follow his principles they get sound results.

I do not believe him to be a great person after all. Yeah I know he did some great stuff, but there are many who did much greater stuff than him. Jawaharlal Nehru for one. Started the trend of industries in India, Led to make India strong economically. Subah chandra bose, although his whereabouts are not known, he also played a very important role in leading India to being a better country..

he told the people of india to be react with peace. While violence may not work to against the enemy. and he did it. There is no blood that have to sacrifice and that makes other country inspires by him. That is all i know, pardon me if i am wrong.

I think its a very dumb question regarding that you live in India. What Mahatma Gandhi did is to lead India out of the clutches of britishers. He took all the pain in order to get the independence for his country. Indeed we should follow Gandhism in our country but in different way. Have you seen lage raho munnabhai thenyou will get your answers on how to use gandhigiri in modern times.
