can you use a manufacturer's coupon too?
For example, this week there is a coupon in the Walgreen's flier 2/$3 Crest toothpaste & oral-B products. Making a tube of crest $1.50 (which is an awesome price). I have a $1.00 coupon from last weeks Sunday paper.
Can I go into Walgreens with their clipable sale coupon (23/$3) and use that $1 coupon I have from last weeks paper?

Some places do that and some don't.. Another great deal is when they have a buy one get one free and I have a coupon for that, what savings..

I have never tried it at Walgreen and it is sort of out of my way,. I would hate to trek over there only to find out that I can't do it.

Well, you could call, but unless you talk to who is in charge, then you may get one answer on the phone and something else when you get there..

Did you try to combine the manufacturer's coupon with the store coupon? What did you find out? I have combined both at my local Walgreens store and never had a problem with it. I imagine this could change from store to store, though. I think some stores allow it because they are two entirely different types of coupons. Stores get reimbursed from the manufacturer when they accept manufacturers' coupons so they don't lose this money. It will be interesting to hear what happened with you.

I don't see why not but I almost guarantee Walgreens will sya no to it. It does not make any sense to me though because someone else could use the coupon also and it would still be cheaper so you just may get lucky with it. Good luck!

Hello sedel1027, you ask a good question. I think it depends on the cashier. We went there before and the one cashier wouldn't let us do it, but then one time we went there and they let us do it. I don't think they are supposed to let you do it because it's really only "one coupon per item" so you're applying two coupons for one item which is against the rules. However if you awnt to try it, go ahead and go to Walgreen's for example when you're out close to them. It wouldn't do any harm to try to do it.

Guess it can't hurt. I don't see anything written on the coupons in the paper. All the have is thge "Limit 2"
