Wow! so many new transitions happening at once :) congratulations on your new home - I hope you find it very comfortable. And great on your daughter graduating! and the upcoming graduation of your son! my son was just accepted to university, so that is great news for us - except a bit bitter sweet for me as it means letting go a bit - he will be going out of state and it is a six year course of studies... he will likely settle down there after he graduates... I can barely think of it without feeling a pang in my heart.

Hello vanities,
Congratulations to you on so many good things that happened to you recently. Like you, I have been inactive here for the past few weeks. I just started again one or two days ago. I was pretty busy with work and personal life and just couldn't find extra time to spend here. I don't really have a good news to share here but after all, my life has been good so far.

Greetings from your new friend in Southwestern Manitoba, Canada. I have included a photo of the rolling hills around our area...not very green yet...but it will be. I appreciate the invite and I accepted it.
When I checked to see who my new friend might be I noticed this discussion. I am glad you posted it...I like update/catch-up chats too. I do that whenever I haven't been here for awhile too.
I am sure you are very proud of your children and I wish them every success in their new ventures and adventures as they begin to move into adulthood and take on greater responsibilities.
Good news for my husband David and myself? Lots of it. We are happily married partners in life and business and do not have any kids and we are fine with that. Although we enjoy children a lot we are career-oriented individuals. We think parenting is one of the greatest contributions people make...but our focus is elsewhere. He does computers...and we co-direct two companies that promote healthy balanced living. I am a professional photojournalist and free lance writer as well. Our work is who we are...not what we do and our ventures are going very well.
We are going to be launching a new website in the next month or two and will let valued friends on Mylot know so they can check it out.
Good to have a new friend...look forward to chatting more.
Best regards,
Raia

Hi vanities, welcome back to this wonderful site and keep on posting here again. Here I send my congratulation to both your daughter and son. I hope your daughter will pass her licensure exam and be a registered nurse very soon. I believe your eldest son, the electrical engineer surely would be matured enough to face any challenges in life. My son had graduated few years back and he works in another state.
