Do you know what? I say the exact same thing!! It really gets to me that they do that. Why not show what it really does, and use real women instead of these skinny little things. Or is it because they do not have enough faith in their own product really working!! It is about time that they put their money where their mouth is, and I mean if they showed that it really worked surely they would sell thousands of the things!!

Me too,I´m always wonder why they always use thin models for this kind of things.
And if you´re looking at the catwalk,there are always good looking thin models.

Ive always wondered why the models are skinny, this is probably to make us think it does actually work. Its not as if they show a before and after of the model. There arent many heavier woman models, but then if saw a heavier woman using the body shaper would it encourage you to buy it or would you think 'shes still has body fat, does it really work??'
It is annoying ho they use slim models but never models in between!

I always get peeved by this. I do know the answer though. Most of the advertisers feel that if a 'fat' person does it, it will not entice a person to buy the item. If it worked why would a fat person be using it? Why not show a skinny person to show the results that you can get?

Definately the sex appeal thing!
You know, if the model is a couch potato,then seldom people would believe in that product.and if they use a thinner girl,then it would make you wonder:maybe I can be that sexy just by putting it on!
It's sort of a psychological thing,and it could make you have the impulse to try it by showing some pictures of a person that you may wanna be!

exactly! i agree many products specially losing fats they try to get people's interest by displaying nice body models without thinking that this could make a wrong perceptions of most customers to think about their product, if it really work why they make a model the fattest person in the world and monitored this person everyday until he/she got her/his desired weight or body figure. maybe because they minght think if they put a slim body model on it most people would appreciate their product.
