problem with avast antivirus..

i had previously installed avast home edition antivirus...some of the file got deleted..i uninstalled the programme .. and tried to reinstall it ..but i got an error message "A Setiface error has occured:2" . i don't know what to do now, i need to install an antivirus ..can some one help me out..??

i have tons of software keys so if you need the paid version of any program just let me know in a private message and ill try and get it for you..

hey, I would recommend AVG-free too, Its pretty good. does almost whatever the other softare do... I am not very fond of Avast...It is very easy to find a copy of AVG-free.

This applies to many prgrams were entries are placed into the Windows registry, so uninstalling the program will still leave the registry entries. The program installation then encounters a problem because the program is effectively partly configured. Another similar issue occurs if uninstallation of a program is not completed properly, often because of a minor error during the uninstall.

i really dont like Avast i use Zone Alarm with Nod32.. best of the best..
