Will Princess Diana ever go away?

I love Princess Diana and I was one of the millions who really mourned her death. I still have not got over her death because she left a very lasting impression on me. There is just something about her that touches a lot of people. I don't think that we would ever get over her death. She taught a lot of people that being a celebrity is power...power to do good and make a difference. I just love her.

Yeah. It gets a little old to see it on television all the time. Every year on the anniversary of her death it's revisited. It was sad, as it's sad for anyone to die.

No, I don't think people will get over it for a long, long time. It's the same as when Elvis died. People still kept saying they saw him, impersonating him, insisting he was still alive. It still happens, and he died more than 30 years ago.

When people put someone on such a high pedestal, hold them to superhuman standards, they have a hard time accepting that they can die like a mere mortal. I think Diana was a good person, and her death was a shame. But it happened and the rest of us should move on- though getting over it is not as easy.

they will always talk about princess diana, she was infamous for becoming a princess, and she was well know for her charity work, she will always be talked about in 1 way or another, and thats horrible to think that they've made up these shirts, i strongly beleive that diana was killed on purpose remember our or any goverment has the power to cover anything up conspiracies do exsits thier not just made up stories...

No, unfortunately they will never let her rest, because she was a public icon. I don't know why this is, but the public really never lets go when something like this happens. Just the other day I saw a news story about Marilyn Monroe and another affair that she supposedly had. She has been gone for over 50 years and they are still worried about who she slept with!!! It will be a long time before we get some good breathing spaces in between Princess Diana's stories, but I don't believe the public will ever let her go.

Hi cher913, these people really loved their princess and I wonder if she even knew how much she was loved when she was alive? It is amazing how much hate there is for Carmella, I think that is how you spell her name. What is funny is that Charles has as much guilt as Carmella and Carmella gets all the hate mail! I do not think people who loved there princess Diana will ever get over it.

Celebrities and famous people never die. People just don't know when enough is enough. They always find something to talk about to get our attention. Like Elvis, hes been dead for years but there is always a someone who has seen him somewhere....LOL I say let the dead rest in piece, please.
