Whats the best way to trace your family tree?

Very good discussion. Your Grandpa Read had a brother-in-law that did a family tree for the Read side of the family and had a hard back book made of it. He is no longer with us or I would suggest you speak to him how the process was for him. I know a lot of work went into the tracing of the family tree.

But he wasnt techinally a read. So thats not 100 percent accurate. its not the real bloodline.

Just because he wasn't a blood Read doesn't mean that it wasn't accurate. He did all the leg work and tracking down of the family tree.

I know there are some sites online that you can use but they do charge you a fee for it. someone told me that you can go to your local library and have it traced free of chrge. I'm not sure if this is true or not but it may be something that you may want to check into.
