I've learned to set realistic plans. I was a dreamer when I was in high school and had really high hopes for the future. College awakened me to the real world and changed my perspectives. During my college years, I also learned to socialize more and got a little more outgoing. College surely improved my people skills.

i have the same situation with you .When i am in high school, i have a dream to get into my dream university .but i was failed.Just beginning ,i didn't adapt to the life in college,the people and the all things are changed.And the life of college is different from the understanding of the campus life in my heart.i was disappointed.But now i get into the college for one year ,i think everyting is ok.

When i got into the college,the people and the all things are changed so that i can't adapt to the life in college.the life in college is different from the understanding of the campus life in my heart.but now i feel good.And in college i learned that everything must be by ourselves

The most important thing I learned was how to get along with people who were diverse from me. I also found myself in ways I would have never done had I attended a more conservative college or not gone to college at all, as is typical of young people in my town.
