texting or talking

I rarely text on my cell phone. I use it mostly for talking. I may text more and learn the technology abbreviations more if it were included in my plan.

I definitely talk more. I could never understand all the word configurations of texting and there are words they don't cover. At least I think so. Talking is so easy. Just dial and talk. Maybe if you're sending love messages its better to text. But, for me, talking is so much better.

I talk on my mobile so rarely it's frightening!

I did use to have a phone phobia thing which now, with PR experience, I have now gotten over it, but I guess that could still be affecting me!

I do text much more than I talk; I like putting what I want to carefully considered words rather than be embarressed by stumbling over words or sounding a bit idiotic!

By far my favourite way of communication is email, though! If only I had an ipod phone!:)

i have recently found out that i prefer to text. it's just easier for me and this way everyone is not in your conversation when you are walking down the street or on the bus. i have unlimted texting on my phone plan now so i text everyone instead of calling

i text more than talk because i got minutes and i dont want to waste them but i would waste them for you baby:p

I am a texter, in fact it is very rare you will hear my voice on a phone as I just constantly text, never phone anyone. Some people I know get a little bit cross with me because I do not phone but I just can say so much in a text that I cannot seem to say on the phone. I also get 300 texts free every month and it would be a real shame to waste them!!

Texting.. It works out cheaper and easier for me. I hate talking on the cellphone, so If I want to have a conversation with someone, I just message them and we chat on the messages.. The advantage of texting is that it can be done silently without much fuss and noise. I text my friends when I'm bored sitting in the class.. and thanks to the T9, I do not even look at the phone while typing... I just have to check the message before sending..

I prefer to talk more on my cell phone, but sometimes I do end up texting more than talking. I guess it sort of depends. My husband sends me lots of text messages, and I have unlimited texting on my contract, so sometimes it is easier to just text so that we can just respond to each other whenever we have the time instead of having a full conversation if we're both kind of busy with other things.
