help: to learn a foreign  

Speaking a foreign language may have a different sound but it's understandable because you were not born with that language. Some people make a mocking out of it but as long as it sounds can be understood, just keep on.

Every language has problems. But English has more problems than others. But as it had grown into a WORLD language it is good that we learn it.

In my time of 1940s grammar was important. But now people write even a book without much care given to grammar. If you write like you speak, it is ok, they say.

In London city in one section they speak 'Cockney' type of English which is not understood by other parts of London.

As Chinese you may speak Mandarin. You tend to drop the 'R' sound and use 'L' instead. For example, you may say PLICE for PRICE. Am I right?

Yes people will laugh. But a person with CARE FOR OTHERS will never laugh at such speech impediments.
