Would you love to have a sample store in your neighborhood?

Tokyo has one called ~ Sample Lab
The Sample Lab, http://samplelab.jp/ which opened last year in Tokyo's Iceberg Building in Harajuku, is a members-only space that invites consumers to sample and test new products.
Members pay an annual fee and gain entrance to the lab by showing a QR code stored on their mobile. The store has shelves filled with different kinds of merchandise and features a room to sit down to try out beauty products.
Many consumers are happy to pay to be the first to try out a new product, and to spread buzz. Moreover, creating a dedicated space for trying out new products makes it easier to collect feedback.

Now I know if I were to find out there was one coming anywhere close to where I live, I'd sign up in a heart beat! I hope they do decide to do this, can you imagine the freebies you would be able to get and I mean FULL Sized samples?
It would really cut down on the grocery bill.

Those Japanese are clever people - and what an excellent idea! I think people would jump on this one.
Some of their ideas are taken on board in the rest of the world, so hopefully this one will take off too! As you say, good for keeping your bills down as long as the membership fee isn't too big!

Sure. I think that would be great but I bet alot of people would take disadvantage of it. I think it would be great to try free samples though if people do not abuse it.
