Have you tried Taco Bell's new Apple Empanada?

I recently tried the new Empanada that my local Taco Bell sells and it was really good. But, it was so hot that it burned the top of my mouth really bad. But, I would order it again and just wait until it cools. It's a lot like an apple pie, but I think this is much better.

I had never heard of this before. It is good that Taco Bell has gotten something new besides the cinnamon crisp chips. I will have to make a special trip down to Taco Bell to try the new pie. Thanks for the info.

I have noticed recently that fast food places do not always have the same things at every store. Just like they say "At participating stores only." I do not know why this is. The Burger King Next to me does not have a self serve drink counter, but some do. I think maybe this hast to do with the fact that there is a Junior College across the street. I don't know for sure.

Yeah, I'm actually thinking of having one, again, too. I might just make the trip down there only for that.

Those came out a few years ago when I was working at Taco Bell. They came out at the same time as the rest of the Big Bell Value Menu. The Caramel Apple Empanada is awesome. I actually started making and apple pie that my sister(a Empanada fan) says taste almost just like a Caramel Apple Empanada.

I just had one yesterday and when I let it cool off, it was even better than the last one. And, for a dessert, it really isn't all that high in calories and sodium.

No I have never tried one, but then again I cant eat spicy foods because it gives me stomach ulcers,so if I go to Taco Bell I just get soft tacos, and use mild sauce, but if it wasnt spicy and it didnt burn your mouth, then I might would try one.

It's not spicy at all. It's kinda like an apple pie and is very sweet. It burned my mouth because it was so hot. If you let it cool off, it should be fine.

Oh okay that makes sense, when you said it burnt your mouth, I figured you meant because its spicy, but if its just because its hot,I might try it one time, especially since it tastes like an apple pie.
