The Bridges Of Madison County

This is something that I read the novel first but fell in love with the movie more, mostly because of Eastwood's direction and Meryl Streep's heartbreaking performance. To cast Meryl as the leading lady is always overwhelming, ten seconds into the film you would completely forget it's acting. She IS Francesca! My only problem is with the misguided dicision to cast her older children and constantly flash back to them. Those scenes just felt out of place.

This is one of my favorite movies. Clint Eastwood and Meryl Streep did a wonderful job portraying the characters in this film. I cry everytime I watch it.
