Pigeons are the symbol of peace. we often see pigeons appear in the posters which call for the call for peace.

pigeons are considered as the symbol of peace. i dont know the exact reason behind ot, but it must have been in connection with the bible. anybody who have read about Noah's ark may be knowing that. after several days of flood, Noah sent a crow to get the news about land. but it did not come back. then they sent a pigeon. it came back with a small leaf in its beak.
thats why a pigeon with a leaf in its beak is considered as the symbol of peace.
(God made severe floods to re-establish peace in the earth)

actually, it is not the pigeon which is considered as the symbol of love. it is a white dove.

Pigeons are not a sign of peace, white doves are.

traditionally it is a white dove rather than a pigeon - best guess is that it is due the bible story that has a white dive as the first bird to bring back news of land after Noah's ark and the flood
