Here we go again...I just can not imagine what
is going on with our young people!
There seems to be a distructive vein
that runs in today's teens!
Any thoughts

I have never seen a group of angrier teenagers than what we have in the world today. I don't know what the heck is going on. Where did society go wrong? Did we indulge them too much? Did we ignore them while as parents, school teachers, ministers etc went on our daily business excluded their needs? Is it too much tv and violent video games, what gives?

I think they are influence of what are they watching at Youtube. You tube is one source of entertainment that every is free to see and visits. Those have crime on their country and their videos were uploaded on You tube, the children look up on it and try to do what they did. Parents have concern on this because they have to guide their children. Other are influenced by their friends.

Maybe this is what happens when they take discipline out of the home and schools. There is no one to show them the error of their ways. Parents can't spank anymore or they will end up in court. The same with the teachers. I think we need to go back to the old ways in some things. Kids this age know right from wrong but they choose to do wrong. No one is standing up to them to correct them. Bring discipline back, let the parents raise their kids without worrying about the government. It sure was different when I was growing up.

you can say that again,i was also amazed when i read in a newspaper sometimes ago about a 14 year old boy who confessed to have been involved in kidnapping and murdering at least 3 people on different occassions ,it seems there uis something going wrong with our moral values and i think its about all the trash that these kids are exposed to in these era

Pffft you guys are over examining this.
These kids are mentally unstable. There have been crazy people since the beginning of the human race, and now is no different. Not every kid does this. No one ever shines a flashlight on the millions of students every year that make no attempt to blow anyone up or kill them. You focus on the bad and use them as appropriate examples of that age group. The biggest difference is that information and materials to make bombs is more available now than it was then, and that mentally unstable people have access to media that gives them ideas. Violent media is not the cause of the violence in kids, it is a combination of mental instability and inability to pick out the seriously messed up kids.

I think teens have wanted to blow up their schools since time immemorial... especially if a big test was looming and they weren't prepared. Not many actually get to making concrete plans, though.

Hi raydene! That is really sad! Why do some young minds now are filled with hatred and destruction?
I guess, different factors have contributed to such behavior. Probably peer pressure, stress from school and home, so much freedom, lack of discipline.. this is really alarming. Just my thoughts dear friend. Take care and have a nice day!

yep i think the teens are really becoming destructive either and no body can really make the true idea what exactly the things are going in their mind.I think the competition and the race of being ahead creating alot of stress in the minds and when the students are unable to cope with the things then it surely affects their minds adversly so these things have made them a bit destructive and creates an undiscipline
secondly the education system is responsible for the bad conditions, system has burden up the students with books and more books mostly not even inspiring.
