Orbit Comercials

i have saw those commercials before but i don't really use the sayings that they have...i mean i have saw a lot of them and they come on my television all of the time...i know a few people that have stared to say osmething like that but i haven't really payed any attention to it until i just read this discussion...that could be it...

I have seen the commercials however they didn't make me start saying things instead of cussing, I rarely cuss, it is just not what works for me, I worked in the trucking industry doing the paper work for the drivers etc, and for the first few months they kept insisting that I would cuss, being around it I would eventually cuss,

I kept saying no I won't. Well it was true I didn't I had spent years caring for children, I learned to use other things, I used to say Fudge, or Fudgy Fudge, one of the drivers I was friendly with thought it was funny and told his family, his daughter started using it, she was 10 years old and got detention from her school for using Fudge instead of swearing

Which is a terrible example to set for kids on the school's part,

But in all the years I worked around well guys that cussed like truck drivers I didn't cuss.

I used other things, lol and if I was really upset I would say fudgcycles on ice skates

which really cracked the drivers up.

But as I said I spent years prior to this taking care of children, and you learn the value of NOT cussing because kids will pick it up.

LOL I wonder if I should find out if obritz took the idea from me LOL

I think they're really bizarre. xD

I have not said these sayings but they are funny and different...When me and my sister get into a fight I am going to try out these wierd little sayings and see if she laughs...lol

they give those commercials alot my 14 years old son is going around say "you lint licker" let me tell you i was washing clothes in the lauderymat and i said to my son get me a cart so i can take out the clothes (my son can be lazy at times) he no under his breath and i turned around and said what did u say to me, he turns around and said "you lint licker" and started to laugh do you know i had to catch myself cuz i was about to pop him right in the head, he looked at me and got serious right away. boy do i regreat letting him see those damn commericials....lol

Never seen the commercials, heck I'm not even sure what Orbit is. Some part of my brain keeps insisting it's an ISP but I have no idea. I wouldn't say something like that. I've already got a handful of other 'replacements' I use rather regularly. I mean how could you do anything but stare at someone who randomly says french toast in the middle of nowhere because he forgot something. At least when they cuss you get, 'oh something not good happened'.

Yeah those commercials are actually really funny. Especially when one of the women is saying you link licker. I just crack up when i see those commercials. But I think that is the only commercial where they have them saying weird things like that. If there are more then I haven't seen any more.
