Problem about mosquitos? |
|
many people in Florida in the US are inviting bats to live in their backyards. they are setting up bat pads about the size of birdhouses to give the flying mammals a place to call home. Why? Because bats love mosquitos, they can eat about 600 of them an hour, making them an ideal alternative to chemical pesticides. Now do you love bats or mosquitos?

clowdine (747) | 3 months ago | Sorry I was just afraid of bats flying around if that would be the only way to get rid of mosquitos. But I don't want them to disappear totally on the face of the earth. I mean, there could be safe ways like proper sanitation, covering water pails, etc. I have even heard that mosquitos are afraid of eucalyptus trees. That also may help if you plant some eucalyptus trees but if it's not possible to be carried out, there could be other ways perhaps like... have you heard of lanzones being used to combat mosquitos? Some people say it can drive mosquitos away if you burn the peel of lanzones fruit but I'm not sure if that's true. I haven't tried that but if it's factual, it may just require tidying up later. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that, in my case, even I believe employing bats to be effective against mosquitos. I'm just afraid of bats. I'll use another means.

omar0913 (163) | 3 months ago | Mosquitos carries deseases such as malaria and dengue, which are deadly especialy to our young ones. If you don't love bats flying around better try other alternative that can drive away mosquitos too. This days we should be more researchfull in order to live long and as well as protect our youngs.

omar0913 (163) | 3 months ago | You can drive away or killed mosquitos by insecticide but its another cause of this so-called global warming. Better use mosquito traps, like the one with blue lights, mosquitos are attracted to this color and once they get near this thing they got burned, its also effective to get rid of other insects inside our households.
