We went to a flea market this morning!

Yes I do..once in a great while I like going and trying to find something that I need or want or something that's different! They are fun and you get to people watch too~!

I love flea markets and yards sales and such. I've only been in Ohio for a few months now so I don't know if we have any flea markets around here, but I'd love to find one.

We have an errand in the next town tomorrow so I was hoping to see some yard sales starting up. I don't know if we're expecting rain now, though.

Oh yes! Shopping at flea markets is my favorite thing to do with my week-ends. Like you ... I can literaly shop for hours and hours in places like these. I have gotten so many cool things. One time at a flea market I saw a girl getting ready to go home ... she was packing everything up. I spotted a four place setting of china dishes identical to the four place setting I had at home. I was mad at myself for not getting two sets at the time I bought them and when I went back they were sold out. She said will you take these off my hands for $10 ...wow what a bargain ... I spent so much more on mine! I like to look for old jewelry and take them apart to make new items ... since I make beaded jewelry. One time someone was selling all kinds of greeting cards for half price and less ... his mom was closing down her card shop. He also had wonderful matted pictures without frames. A lot of times you find designer clothes with price tags still on them. You can sometimes find awesome antiques and furniture and spruce them up and they look lovely in your home. I remember I furnished my first apartment when I was in college with everything that I found second hand ... and it looked good! The most fun flea market I have ever been to was one that I found in London. They had so much cool jewelry and wedgewood.

somehow I dont like them too much, those flea markets, I think it makes us buy things we dont really need because they may be in good shape and not expensive. Then we go home with our trophies only to find we wont use them in daily life as much as we first thought we would.
Just my opinion on it.
I prefer to check online when I really want something and I also make sure I need that item and will be very likely to use it often.
