Do you give the best response to what you wanna hear ?

If you do not like the response that much. but you feel it is correct and logical. would you mark as a best response ?. or you are just looking to what you wanna hear to mark as a best response ?

I give it to the most convincing one regardless it is what I like or not.

I give the best response to whom I think understood my discussion the best and made the clearest most meaningful response . I have never thought about whether or not it was what I particularly wanted to hear at all. if it is the best response then that is what I will give it otherwise thebest response would have no real meaning.
