I just read a www.thisistrue.com e-newsletter (20th April Edition-free subscribe) in my inbox- Apparently some Legal firms in London (England) have brought in a dress code banning sexy stockings, fishnets etc, saying they're "Unprofessional Attire". Apparently,it's the Female Lawyers who are most vocal in protesting about this ban!
How do you feel about this subject? Do You Dress flirtatiously for work? Do you feel that you can dress Sexy and be professional too?
Thanks for responses!

Well im lucky enough to not have that issue I work in my jammies on mylot lol. But I do think there needs to be a code for work. It is too distracting if you are dressing all sexy I mean im straight but a woman in a sexy outfit would even distract me.

Thanks for the response! I work in a Hotel,so We have a Uniform to wear...Waitresses can choose to wear Skirts or Trousers, but management insist on a knee length skirt.not sure if there are many stocking wearers among those still in skirts, but what I find most distracting are those in thong underwear below their trousers peeping above the waistband!

Yeah the thong sticking out looks pretty tacky at work.

It seems now that most floor Staff Women I work with don't want to keep up with having to regularly buy replacement tights or stockings, and seem to prefer the trouser look, although the Office staff and receptionists have stayed with the Skirts..

it depends on what work are you in. i am in a band and most of my singers of course have to dress something sexy. and if you are a professional that works on big and respectable stablishments of course you have to wear something formal and business like attires.
