by one of your old very close mylot friend here with whom you are discussing almost always in spite of the hundreds of BRs you got? Does it prove that you are not that smart or Your friend is very very fair and not biased?

I've had a lot of my responses be marked as "best response." It's an honor. You just have to make sure that your response is putting forth valuable information, and hopefully, not something that someone else has already said.

I too don't mind as long as the best ones get the due credit. It is always nice to see your friends being impartial and not biased.

I think you friend is totally impartial and very fair. You are undoubtedly smart, no issures about it... but sometimes less smarter people could steal the show. lol..

I have to be honest to all you myLotters out there. I am not the best at keeping up with my BRs. I will usually remember one day and then go through all my topics and pick a BR... this should be something that myLot should remind you about! I don't know about other people not giving other people BRs. If it is the best response then I give it, if not then I don't. I try not to be biased. You might want to ask your friend why he/she doesn't give you any. Thanks Zelo

Bala! Quite an interesting thought! When I post my replies, I do not bother or care whether my response would be selected as the best one. But if someone selects my resposne as the best one, I feel obliged to him/her. I feel, I have very few of responses, which are choosen as the best one. Coming to your question, if any of my dear friends here does not select my response as the best one, I do not feel that my response was very poor or was not upto my friend's expectations, but I feel that the response choosen as the best one, by my dear friend, may be more relevant and appropriate to the discussion than my response. Moreover, choosing a best response is the sole discretion of the host of the discussion, so I do not feel bad, if mine is not choosen as the best one.

I don't feel bad wither and I quite understand too.Isn't it strange that what the others think is the best is not so best in your friend's eyes among hundreds of your BRs? I just am trying to wonder and no complaining or yearning.

Our dear friend who finally selects the best response, at his/her discussion, holds the prerogative and the response choosen by him/her may be best in her/his view, it may not tally with the best response thought to have been choosen by others.

I don't really think about it. It could be that my friend have lots of responses to her/his discussion that are much better than mine. I just don't dwell on it. I believe that if I am being honest and give my best in my responses, then that is all that matters.

This could easily be one of the best responses I got for this discussion.
