If the gas tax is suspended over the summer, that will keep you from paying the tax on your gas. But that doesn't lower the price of the gas. If anything, gas prices might go even higher. Considering there is no cap on gas prices, maybe this is where the problem exists. Gas prices can go up indefinitely if there is no cap.
No suspension of taxes or any of the ($0.25-not even, they are arguing about).
McCain proposed the idea of suspending the gas tax. Figures, a Republican, let the people believe they are better off, when in reality there is a different issue.
Now Hillary is promoting this thought (she steals ideas from EVERYONE-What do you want to hear today)
Who disagrees with this? Obama...he doesn't think it will help....
hmmm...
the same guy who keeps showing the country how we are being taken advantage of...
COME ON AMERICA!!! Let's change the direction this country is going in, let's vote for the right candidate this time...

I agree, he knows from experience, he tried this idea once.
And people are critisizing him for critisizing her, and then critisizing him for not critisizing her enough -- he doesn't wanna look like a hypocrit.
'Cause this isn't gonna help much. Anyone who knows anything about the economy knows prices are the responsibility of those who make them -- OPEC, and prices go up based on demand. Demand right now has gone up 'cause of developing countries climbing their way up...plus things are panicked in developed countries over the prices, so those who can afford it are stocking up as well...
Now, things might get better if we put pressure on OPEC to stop taking advantage of everybody by upping the prices -- this isn't good for the developing countries either...
Hillary is PANDERING. Like Olbermann said, this is another way for her to say, "Vote for me or die" because literally our future is at stake.
