I adore a Mars Bar dunked in steaming hot coffee. i know someone who prefers chocolate fingers who bites the ends of the finger and then uses it like a straw, sooking up the coffee, turning the inside of the finger into mush! What is the ultimate dunking biscuit?

McVities Ginger Nuts. Although they're best with black coffee and the coffee has to be really, really hot. And 2 or 3 seconds is long enough to dunk them, any longer and they go too mushy which isn't good.

Oh I have them with ice cream too - usually I crumble them over the top of it. To read it your concoction does sound a bit disgusting but I bet it tastes great lol! And Dream Topping! I used to LOVE Dream Topping! Can you still get that? It's years since I had it but now I really, really want some!

I love Ginger nuts stiletto! They are good dipped in ice cream or orange juice as well! When I was a lot younger I used to make a dessert I got of the Why Don't You tv programme - you dipped ginger nuts in orange juice and then put some dream topping in between and made a stack of them and covered the lot in dream topping - sounds disgusting but I used to love it! lol xxx

I have to say it'll always be the classic for me: a chocolate digestive. Dangerous buggers though. I can go through an entire pack in one sitting, given enough tea. I hate it when they break off and land in your mug though. They sort of create this mucky sludge in the bottom of the cup. Perhaps you could read it like tea leaves?

i would not be able to leave it long enough to read. that sludge goes down the back of the throat a treat!

But surely by that point it's cold. Blargh!

gingernut bikkies of course! lol. I grew up having ginger nut biscuits and tea, and still like it even 20 years later. Some people get tim tams and bite the corners off and then use them like a straw, but not me. Chocolate and coffee or tea together is just wrong when combined that way.

Oreos, hands down, Xboxboy! Real Oreos too, not double-stuff ones, or fudge covered, or any of the new-fangled styles out there today. Just regular old Oreos! But second? Chips Ahoy, I think. They're crispy and they dunk so well. Mmmm, you've got me thinking about cookies now. I love to dunk my cookies in my coffee. But I've never heard of dunking a candy bar in it, darlin, what's up with that? A mars bar? Hmmm. Sounds like it would immediately melt, but that's not necessarily a bad thing, you know, could turn into a mocha. Mmm, Starbucks is calling now, dammit, Xbox, I now want cookies AND coffee!!! And I'm so self indulgent, I'll probably go get both......

I don't drink coffee only tea and for me it would be a nice biscuit or the original rich tea. I have quite plain taste really and a more savoury tooth so thats about as sweet a biscuit as I can cope with. Ellie :D
