What's your unhealthiest habit?  |

My most unhealthiest habit is skipping my meals. I know breakfast is the most important meal, but I always skip breakfast and sometimes lunch. As a result of this unhealthy habit, I am currently underweight. I am trying get rid of this bad habit so that I can gain a little weight. What is yours? How does it affect your well-being? Do you think you can get rid of your unhealthy habit?

I am overweight and not only a bit overweight and am diabetic so skipping meals is not the answer with the medication I am on..... lol. My unhealthiest habit is sometimes pinching regular sweets instead of eating diabetic friendly sweets when I feel cravings for something sweet. I really should stick to diabetic friendly stuff then though it does not taste as good as regular.

ellie26 (1847) | 5 months ago | Never attempt to skip meal like I do. It is the most unhealthy habit in the world!lol. We are totally the opposite. I am underweight and trying hard to gain weight. I hope you can try to 'skip' your craving for sweet. Though your friendly sweets does not taste as good as regular, but it is at least healthy for you. Do take care, my friend.

Yesterday I pinched a few forbidden sweets but the package is empty now and so I said forget about that as long as my husband has not opened any of them I cant pinch them. He is not diabetic and so he can eat whatever he likes.

book1962 (9520) | 5 months ago | happily I dont need insuline and a pill in the morning together with my breakfast will do nicely. And normally my husband keeps the forbidden sweets to himself. I have a drawer where I have mine and will make use of it when I need it. lol

Most of the time anyways I skip meals a lot. That is not good at all, I know. Everyone will be devastated when I pass on. And I will always be missed forever.

I read that One possible cause for liver damage is skipping breakfast but I still skip my breakfast. Though not like before, this time at least I forced myself to eat bread in the morning. Another unhealthy habbit that I do is lying down right after dinner. I always do that and watch tv until I sleep. I never exercise.

Ellie, its you bub, I can help you, true. make like entree size meals and have them. a little bowl of mixed salad some mayo and a nice grain dry cracker. bowl of fruit (sliced) and nuts (assort) 2 slices of pizza, with a small salad on the side. 1 chop and 1 cup of mixed Veg's(diced/steamed) egg and bacon toasted muffim (english) 1 cup o soup and a slice of grain bread (buttered) For some reason I feel sad for you, are you OK, Im thinking of you and hope alls well with you, if not talk to me ok. ellie26 (1847) | 5 months ago | Thank you for your concern, hiccup. I started losing weight after I have given birth to my youngest son, 31/2 years ago. My doctor told me that probably I was heavily under stress and the way I cope with it was by not eating. Some people who are under stress would eat more than usual. They usually turn to comfort food. I think he is right. I can eat a lot sometimes but can hardly gain weight. I was advised also to eat 6 small portion of meals and to drink milk. I did all that but I only gain a little weight. I am not the only one who is skinny in my family. So, I guess in is hereditary. I will try your menu. Thanks again.

hiccup (4523) | 5 months ago | Ellie, Milk drinks can help a lot, you can always beat and egg/s into them and add honey, some much goodness in that. Eat pastas and noodle, breads, plenty of toppings, go for cream sauces, Give some thought to good old Italian food...never seen a small Mama Italian.

Each time I start with good intentions and then it all goes horribly wrong. I know it is bad for me and I know I really have to quit so maybe next time I will get it right

It is never good at all to go certain periods of time without any food at all; long periods of fasting. It will evenually result in death. That will be horrible.

I so however, start eating at about 4 or 5:00 and eat until I go to bed, which is a very bad habit.. I will never lose weight this way.. I am not sure that I can change now after all of these years..

Like at home, I'm the DIY guy and my mom would ask me to repair the lights or pump the sink and I would take like forever to do that. I know that it kind of is none too good to delay things but it has been a habit of mine. I'm trying hard to kick it. Oh yes, if there is another worst habit of mine, it has to be smoking. I smoke like a log on fire and I need to stop, LOL!!

| 9. krystine (23) | 5 months ago | My unhealthly habit is smoking it's so gross and disgusting. I've tryed to quit but I can't and the nicotine burns my entire mouth so that's not going to happen. It's relly hard after I eat or drink coffee. Iv'e been smoking for 2 years now and I scared to death of getting cancer. I see people who are in there 90's and not get cancer some are still very healthy but I know statistcally that's probably not going to be me. I try to keep myself busy but then after a while I won't smoke but then my mind says you forgot your cigarrette and I continue. plus it doesn't help to live with a smoker or everyone you know smoke either.
