 My grandson is in kindergarten and he just turned 6 years old...
He knows the first 27 United States Presidents. He can say all their names and in order...
I have to admit...I can't do it myself...

I am sure that if I were to memorize them for a few days I could do it. But, who has the time for such trivial things? Kids are like sponges, they absorb information easily. My sponge needs a good wringing out.

His 4 year old brother is saying them too!

F. Kennedy, and Ronald Reagan, and that is about it...I don't ever remember learning them this way in school..
Now they are learning their ABC's and the Presidents in Kindergarten...Wow!!

One thing about being young is the brain is like a sponge, it can take so much information. It also depends on how the brain is trained. I remember when I was in grade school, I could get 100% on tests that required memorization. As we grow old, there is so much clatters and dead brain cells that remembering directions become too arduous! LOL! CHeers!

I know my son was bored with school..Before he even went to Kindergarten he said he wanted to be a Quantum Mathematician...He was only 5 at the time..I regret not having him tested..
My grandson's are very quick learners and always find several different ways to figure something out...
