How many do you know? This is so cool... |

My grandson is in kindergarten and he just turned 6 years old... He knows the first 27 United States Presidents. He can say all their names and in order... I have to admit...I can't do it myself... Do you know all the United States President's names...in order?

2. ElusiveButterfly (8472) | 5 months ago | That is great Feona. I couldn't name them myself. As I age I find that CRS is taking control of my mind that coupled with the blonde moments. I am sure that if I were to memorize them for a few days I could do it. But, who has the time for such trivial things? Kids are like sponges, they absorb information easily. My sponge needs a good wringing out.

Feona1962 (2794) | 4 months ago | Thank you. He really surprised me when I picked him up one day and he said all 27 of them..He does know George Bush is The President now and that George Sr. is his father..So he really knows 29 Presidents.. His 4 year old brother is saying them too! You better wring out that sponge and start soaking up some knowledge..LOL

7. moolahmagnet (1618) | 5 months ago | Your grandson must be a genius! If he can memorize names of presidents in order, he'll be able to do lots more, like countries or states and their capitals. One thing about being young is the brain is like a sponge, it can take so much information. It also depends on how the brain is trained. I remember when I was in grade school, I could get 100% on tests that required memorization. As we grow old, there is so much clatters and dead brain cells that remembering directions become too arduous! LOL! CHeers!

Feona1962 (2794) | 4 months ago | Thank you..They sure are smart...It's like they can't get enough information..They are always asking questions and wanting to learn everything they can..I think it is great.. Now is the time for all that knowledge to be absorbed and I hope it sticks with them.. His 4 yr. old brother can say the names as well..he also adds, subtracts..

9. TheSpy (3399) | 4 months ago | Hi Feona: I couldn't even do that. Your grandson is a genius and you should get him tested because he might need to go to a special school. You don't want him to get bored in a public school. Have a great evening. Ivor

Feona1962 (2794) | 4 months ago | Hi Ivor, yes he and his 4 yr. old brother are very smart.. I know my son was bored with school..Before he even went to Kindergarten he said he wanted to be a Quantum Mathematician...He was only 5 at the time..I regret not having him tested.. My grandson's are very quick learners and always find several different ways to figure something out... They thrive on learning all they can..
