Have you eaten at a Cracker Barrel Restaurant?  

We happened upon a Cracker Barrel in our travels. The place was packed. There were a lot of people browsing the gift shop while they waited for their name to be called to be seated in the restaurant. We never got to dine there.

My mother has been several times when she lived in Florida. She loved the food there.

Hi barehugs, we don't have Cracker Barrel Resturants here in Aussie land but by the sounds of what you have described they sound pretty good. The only thing Cracker Barrel that we have is cheese which is named this but that is it. Looks like we are missing out on something that would do well here......a shame!

Oh i love craker barrel i eat there every hance i get,and yesthey are aleays full but i dont mind the wait because i love there food.

I may need to buy shares in Cracker Barrel with the High Oval Orange Sign with their just over $5.00 food.

It all sounds like a winner to me.

It won't be long before this company will spread it's wings to far shores, like the Land Down Under, Australia, there we all will be able to taste the fine fair of Wares.

Yes! My husband and I love eating at Cracker Barrel. We usually go there on Fridays so I can get the fish special! I just love this fish meal! I usually get it with the baked apples and coleslaw! I love their cornbread! Their dinners are sooo good ... comfort food. I love looking at the antiques on the walls. They have a huge warehouse full of antiques that the restaurants choose from! I love their old time candy ... candy like we had when we were kids. Their store is so much fun to shop in ... I love the old time toys, home goods, and clothes! I always find something to buy ... I like to shop there at Christmas ... they will wrap your gifts for free! We have a Cracker Barrel just down the street from where we live! Lovely!

Oh yes i love the" Cracker Barrel" we have a lot of them around here in the Houston area.....I also love to shop there too..Its always fun to look around for a while and then when we eat the food is great..Sometimes we just go there to eat breakfast,its always good..I also like their coffee...Not all places have good coffee....

Hello, I enjoy the nostalgic atmosphere there. I also love those pancakes even though I hate to think of how many calories I'm swallowing! Its a great breakfast place with very good prices. Everytime we go traveling, we always get a good breakfast to fill up before we leave and I usually end up buying something totally useless in the gift shop, but I guess its just become a habit. I have eaten at a Cracker Barrel and enjoyed it! With all the fast food places around it is nice to go somewhere and sit down and actually have a decent meal. It is relaxed and the food is great! I am really into history and love the idea that they commonly have antiques/antique looking items on the walls. It is neat to check out everything. I really enjoy Cracker Barrel! Do you know of anyone who ones one of these places?

I have to be honest. I am not fond of the food here at all but I shop here often. I love the store in the front of the restaurant. I find such neat items in there- This is the place I usually pick up co-worker gifts and teacher gifts for Christmas. They are unique and very good prices.
The reason I'm not fond of the food is I'm not fond of them menu- I like to eat turkey out for dinner- Turkey is not on the normal menu- it is a special from time to time.
I do love their salads though- but most times when I go out to eat for dinner- I don't want a salad.

I haven't been to a Cracker Barrel in ages. I don't remember ever going for breakfast but Pecan pancakes sound delicious. It's fun walking through the store area too.
