Which is your favorite Tom Hanks movie?  |

 http://www.tiscali.co.uk/... son and I had a discussion today about the best acting Tom Hanks ever did and my son said it was Forrest Gump, and I said it was Philadelphia story. In terms of best move, I will still say Philadelphia story, but of course you guys might like something different.
I look up his bio and I am so impressed, it turns out he won an oscar for both movies and it was the only time in 55 years of the oscars that anyone had done that.
He bio is amazing. He is currently the vice president of the oscars association. But you really need to read about his brilliant career.

1.  robsbrooklyngirl (3079) | 2 years ago |  I am going to have to agree with your son on this one. My favorite Tom Hanks movie is "Forrest Gump". He played such an awesome part in that movie. You couldn't help but love his character. Tom Hanks is one of my all time favorite actors. I have seen almost all of his movies(except the Divinci Code. I wont watch that), some of them even more then once. He truly is one of the best actors out there.

| 4. CanadaGal (1624) | 2 years ago |  I love his movies! It's hard to say what my favourite is, and I know I haven't seen all of them, so I can't give a fully educated answer.
Of the movies I can think of, I think my favourite would be "The Green Mile". I just love that movie! I also really enjoyed The DaVinci Code. Granted, in both cases, it was the story I really enjoyed. I'm not so sure I liked them all because of Tom Hanks.
My first experience with Tom in the movies was with "Big". Now THAT is a good movie! I thought he did such a fantastic job of being a kid in an adult's body. Granted, I think many men would be able to do that much more easily than any woman I know. roflmao!

He has been in some really great ones, although I haven't seen every single one. He's great in drama, comedy, or romance (Sleepless in Seattle). But I guess Apollo 13 is my favorite Tom Hanks movie.

7.  Rozie37 (7158) | 2 years ago |  My all time favorite is definitely Forrest Gump. He was just so cute and sweet in this movie. The only part of the movie that I can not watch is the war scene. It is too much for me.
I also liked "The Green Mile." Even though he worked in a death row prison, he still managed to play a very compassionate and nice role. I can not watch the end of this movie because I feel that that big guy was innocent. I also hate it when they kill the mentally slow guy.
