My potatoes were planted around Easter too, and they're looking really good now. I even saw one flowering yesterday. Weirdly, they seem to be coming up more widely spaced that we remember planting though. Yes, I know that's not logical but we're convinced that we planted them closer than that LoL

Most of out other stuff is looking good too, although the beans are a bit of a disappointment so far. I think we planted them too soon, but I have some in seed trays now just starting off so I'll replace them soon. The aubergines are looking a bit sad too. I'll be at the market tomorrow though so I might get some more seedlings as it's getting late to seed them from scratch now.

Isn't it great having a garden growing? watching it is fun, but eating it when it's grown is even better:-)

I think that even if I lived in a tiny place I'd want to grow*something* myself, even if it was only a pot of herbs.

Happy growing:-)

i love growing veggies at home too. so far i have grown tomatoes, green peppers, eggplant, potatoes, lady fingers, gourd, spinach, coriander, beans, bitter gourd, and a few others. it's a wonderful feeling to watch them grow and then enjoy the fruits of your labor:-)

Can't wait for you to fix me some fried taters and onions. That is after I treat you to a nice meal somewheres. Happy growing. You could plant your garden here in St Louis, because all it ever does is rain. Good for the crops but heck on making your suntan darker.
