Maybe No one understands me

You are far from insane. You have a serious mind and that is good. You are in the right place to find people to discuss important things with, and to share your thoughts with, at mylot.

In real life I never meet people who share my feelings about life but here in myLot discussions I find there are many people who feel the same way I do.

Try to get a lot of different friends and add interests to your myLot profile. Then you should find there are other people here who want to discuss things with you that you like to talk about.

Have faith!!! There is a whole world of crazies out there, someone must share your personal brand of crazy. Personally, I surround myself with people who are slightly left of center, because the ones who are square in the middle bore me to tears. I admire a person who has interest in their own life and wants to live in their personal world instead of vicariously through someone else. Stand proud. You are not alone!!! You may be insane, but really, have you ever met an interesting person who wasn't?

Avoiding and ignoring ARE what people do about their problems.

Most of us have become experts at wasting our time and energy by focusing on unimportant issues, materialistic dreams, and unrealistic idols.

I understand your frustrations; Ive had these same thoughts. Dont feel your alone; I feel as you do.

You are not insane. I believe and feel the same exact way. It is just as I like to consider myself, a random being. We are human, yes. We function the same way physically as the rest of society, yes. But it is just that we see things in a more in-depth manner. There is nothing wrong with that. I think it is very important for people to focus on the important issues in their lives and it is most definitely important for us to stop avoiding our problems because though we all know this only creates more problems down the road, many forget about the fact that it can also damage the person more emotionally and mentally. I say, continue to be as you are. I have asked multiple times where are the people like me, so that I too can socialize more often about important issues, and I have come to the realization that they are out there, it is just that we are not in the same city, or state. Sometimes we may not even be in the same country, but one day for sure, I will find a way to meet just one person like me, because this will be a very intersting time.:]

yeah, I have issues like that as well. I don't have really any friends, I mean I have a few, but if you where to put me in a high school stereotype group, I'd be the outcast of the outcasts... there was one kid i got along with really well, but that kid got arrested for conspiracy to commit murder and expelled about 2 weeks ago, and it bothers me more than I'm willing to admit. I mean, I do have other friends, but alot of them, most of them, could really care less about me, I just don't fit with them if that makes sense, it bothers me more that people are now being nicer to me just because of this, and maybe that's kinda weird...

Dunno know anything about what you are saying but i can assure you of one thing that the world's insane for sure .......... no one's human, all are selfish doing deeds only for themselves ........... thats my view from my experience, so you might not be wrong........ anywayz.........TC!!!

intelligent people who have a lot of the same interests as
you so keep digging and you will find friends who think just
as you do. YOu are not insane at all,you want to meet others
who feel as you do and focus on the serious things that matter
in life. keep responding and you will find people who are a lot
like you here. trust me.

Everyone tries to be what they are and can be. Everyone is trying to live in oftentimes trying times and certainly they deserve what they've got. Everyone could get more if they wanted more, that's automatic. What's not so automatic is the time when these things will come. You say maybe you're insane. A very wise man once said to me, "Everyone is crazy for something; some are crazy for love, others for money and fortune; we are crazy for God. There is always something that everyone is crazy about.
