Whether Human Is a Vegetarian or Non-Vegetarian |
|
Some people only eat vegetables whereas some non-vegetables. However, non-vegetarians are seldom compelled to eat vegetables and they eat it without reluctance. But a Vegetarian never eat non-vegetables especially those who are from Asian countries. It is not clear whether human is a vegetarian or non-vegetarian by birth. Non-vegetarian claims that eating non-vegetables are the secret of their good health whereas vegetarian says vegetables are Very good for their health and not only, they claims, human body is constructed for suit to vegetables. In modern medical science BLOOD CHOLOSTROL is a main topic and eating non-vegetable is the main cause for increase of CHOLOSTROL in Blood. Now the question raised is that eating vegetables or non-vegetables brings Good health to human body? Your comments are Welcome. Thanks.

2. t_rex_boi (448) | 3 months ago | I ask a simple question. Can Humans fly? The answer will be NO but see how we are flying from one continent to the other today. Why? because we had the brain to invent airplanes to fly. Exactly the same way we have the brain to know how to cook the food. This means we know how to cook non-vegetarian food so that it is digestible by our digestive system. Essentially what I want to say is that our body is not suitable for digesting raw meat but it can digest cooked meat. We get important animal proteins from this food. Its an effect of evolution that our body is not suitable anymore to digest raw meat. When we learned to cook food we found that food was more tasty after cooking. So we started eating only cooked food. And generations after generations did the same and after many many hundreds of generations the body started losing the ability to digest the raw non vegetarian food. Its true that eating a lot of non vegetarian food may increase the uric acid levels in the blood. But can u ask an eskimo to become a vegetarian? Only source of food that he can find in the tundra are the sea foods which are essentially non vegetarian. Gist is: Eat whatever you are comfortable with. just make sure the food you eat is a balanced diet. veg or Non veg it doesn't really matter as long as you take care of the nutrients.

3. gemini_rose (6269) | 3 months ago | I have never really liked vegetables I find them really boring, apart from sweetcorn and I could eat that all the time. I have always been a meat eater, even though a lot of meat does not actually agree with me. Perhaps we are the same as dinosaurs, some of them were born to be meat eaters and some born to just eat leaves and shrubs, I am not sure about whose healthier though although I do agree that vegetables are good for a person, I just try and eat a balance of both.

wooitsmolly (1427) | 3 months ago | That is an interesting thought (about the dinosaurs) lol. I don't think it's true, but you never knoowwww. I was under the impression that corn is actually a grain, not a vegetable. This is what I found online about it: "Corn is a grain. It is in the family Poaceae (grasses) and genus: Zea (tall grasses). It is mostly starchy like grains, but also has a good amount of fiber. Non-scientifically speaking though, if I ate corn with my meal, I'd count it as a vegetable." not that it really matters, but whatever!

Human being is primarily a vegetarian.when you were born you were fed with milk only then after six months you were fed with vegetable soup or fruit juice and not the non-veg things.you are right,if you eat meat or fish and eggs, you will have cholesterol problems.but a vegetarian will be free from this problem.i am a vegetarian since birth and i do not have cholesterol problem and to day i am 70 and doing quite well with only vegetables and fruits and milk and milk products.these are quite good for health.thanx.

5. kriskhedkar (362) | 3 months ago | Man is an omnivorus animal. It depends upon the situation u live in like. Like when we are born we are of no religon but we just follow what our parents are following like if the are catholic most of the time u likel to be catholic. Same way if someone is boorn in a family who doesnt eat non-veg he tends to reluctant towards non-vegies, infact i have seen people vomiting when they see someone else eating nonveg. it depends upon the environment in which u live in. Secondly, when it comes to which is brings good health to human being is also depend not upon what u eat but upon with which feeling u eat. Anyways as far as i am concerned i pure veg. and i believe it brings good health dont trust me? then i see many animals like elephant is vegeterian, hippo, rhino these are veg animals and rabbits is a vegeterian(so therefore u can see many veggies slim like me:-))

overwings (1071) | 3 months ago | Agree with that too. We are ment to be omnvorus, so I go for a balnace diet of meat and vegetables, enjoying the best of both things. Huans can not digest raw meat any more, but apart from that meat is a very good sourse of proteins and it tastes good.

7. creative_genius (444) | 3 months ago | Humans are omnivores, but if a choice has to be made between a vegetarian diet and non-vegetarian than the vegetarian diet is generally healthier. I am veggie and don't like the idea of eating animals- especially when there are thousands of delicious alternatives out there. Some people feel ill if they cut out meat altogether. But Ithink it is little about whether you eat meat, and more about what you choose to eat and how you cook it. Eating healthy brings good health- not whether you choose vegetarianism or not.

9. wooitsmolly (1427) | 3 months ago | It is my belief that human bodies are made to eat both vegetables and meat. That said, I choose not to eat meat for ethical reasons (not health ones.) I think it is obvious that the majority of people in the US (I can't speak for other countries) eat too much meat. They are eating it at every meal and in such high quantities that it is a serious health risk. Do I think that a herbivore diet is more healthy than an omnivore diet? Not always. I think it would do a lot of people a lot of good to cut down how much meat they eat. I think we all know this and I hate that there always seems to be conflict between those with differing eating patterns. (Just wanted to add, not all vegetarians eat only vegetables, since some eat eggs, cheese, milk, etc.)

10. MrNiceGuy (2786) | 3 months ago | Humans are most definitely omnivores. Increased protein from eating animals was the reason our brains could develop larger and why we enjoy a better cognitive ability. "However, non-vegetarians are seldom compelled to eat vegetables and they eat it without reluctance." This is a pretty contradictory sentence, what were you trying to say?

arvndrnair (213) | 3 months ago | Dear Friend, I am not trying to say anything. I only put a subject for discussion and for which I received a plenty of response and I was for that. What I said is "a non-vegetarian eat vegitables with pleasure" whereas "a vegetarian cannot eat meat" because as some other members pointed out in the discussion that "some vegetarian start vomitting even by seeing a person eating the Meat". I hope it cleared your doubts. Thanks for responding.
