To all mothers/fathers, if u were to be alone at home, u have no internet access or u dunno how to use the computer, u are sick and tired or watching the tv and movies.. Wat will u do?? If your child is at home too, wat would u like them to do with u?? Chat?? Or cook? To all child in the family, wat will u do, if u see your mom or dad so bored at home??

Finally u found your way to my 'heart' of discussions!! lol =D That's good for u and your mom, because noth of u have got so much to chat about, and being able to cook together as well.. hehe ^_^ I dun have such a priviledge though because my mom is always nagging at me for all sorts of things, til the extend i dun even feel like talking.. lol =D Thus whenever i see her being bored at home, i will kinda feel lost.. hehe ^_^ Even if she were to go over, talk to neighbours, she cant possibly be doing that thewhole day, as it depends on how free they are too.. hehe Shopping alone can be quite boring at times, and thus i guess that's the reason why she stayed at home.. haha =D

lol =D It seems that nobody likes to be nagged at.. MAybe to mother, guys are always untidy, childish, as well as acting spoiled, because we have father for support.. lol =D Plus, guy's responsibilty are more to taking care of the family by providing income, and thus when it comes to home, guys tend to take it more relaxed, and it somehow turns out to be a nuisance for moms.. hehe ^_^ Maybe u are right, daughtersand mom should get along well because both are woman, and that they are learning the same things as well.. Thus they have more topic to be talking about.. hehe PLay mahjhong with her?? I'm so scared i might lose my entire fortune to her!! lol =D

My parents when they are alone at home they either watch TV, and cook, after that sleep most of the times. But, my mother most of the times is out of the house to attend the church mass and socialization meeting with her friends which is likely the opposite of my father who is already retired most of the times he is the home body type and would only like to be the storekeeper most of the times or only go out every Sunday. Then, everyday just listen to the morning news or watch noontime TV show then have his daily walking exercises. Most of the time I help in the household chores and they have to be call only when the cooking is already finish. That is the sort of repetitive activities most of the times and being recycle so on and so forth...Then, if I see them really bored I am likely ask them to go to the mall and do shopping most of the times or eat in a restaurant and if they likely not yet in the moods to go out..I'll be the one to buy special food to be shared by all of us or maybe cook a special dinner where they could eat all they can like in a buffet with no limited portions...then, afterward watch DVD comedy movies along to share a laugh with them with a popcorn on hand..That is for me the boredom killer buster which I could think of as of this moment....

Seems like u are a very much filial daughter to your parents huh!! GOOD I guess your mom wont be too bored since she has got her own activities on hand, while your father is the opposite.. haha =D As for u, u have done your part being a daughter, and knowing their needs at time, also, providiing them with entertainment and spending time with them in a meaningful way

yup, most of the times as they have no one to rely on except me..lol.. My mom have her own networking groups and rarely been stay in the house she is always busy with her activities as she say when she reach 70 she could no longer enjoy it.. so at this time we allow her as long as she can... being daughter it is my obligation like its payback time from their own sacrifices...

Aye.. That sort of thing hardly happen. Usually all of us come home late. But when it happens, we'll just go out for a meal or movies. My parents love watching dvds so they'll never get sick. They simply love hong kong dramas. They watch it all the time. As I am typing now, they are watching..

yes it would be really boring specially for my wife. she chooses to be a 24 hour hands on mom and wife. so i know it would be boring for her when my son goes to school and i am at work. but that is the cycle of life we can not control that. kids grow up and needs to go to school.

I don't stay with them but usually once a week my brother will take my parents out to enjoy food and go shopping. My dad loves to eat out but interested only on his favorite food and mum basically loves going out. My mum is hardly bored at home as she has her own daily schedules of house chores, cooking, laundry, watching dramas ( not bored of it and this she wouldn't miss - on time ), watering her plants, naps and exercises ( she does some exercises using light weight dumbbells ) As for my dad since his last stroke, he is a bit weak on limbs movements so most of the time he is lazy and take naps a lot. I do pity him as he has no hobbies. So he keeps himself amuse by talking to my mum and helping her in the house chores unless my mum starts to nag him..lol Well! Even how they have to tolerate each other. Cheers and have a good day!

i like traveling and taking pictures everywhere. so if i have time at home, i would like to see the old pictures. that can bring many beautiful scenes and things to my mind. and also i have good memory, i think. i always recall the nice things ever happened to me. by that way i can keep a good mood for most of the days.

My parents are the type of people that likes silence. They like it when no ones shouting or making noise around. I don't even know if they get bored. Hehehe.. I usually talk to them when they're just sitting in our balcony and just watch the surroundings and wait until it gets dark..

hehe ^_^ That's wat i fear too.. Even if our parent sare bored at times, and if we are busy, they will not wanna disturb us.. But i do know deep in their heart, they will wish that we could chat with them at least awhile, instead of being in front of the pc the whole day, talking to frenz.. hehe

If i was at home with my children and it was a nice day i would either take them to the park with the dogs. We could have a game of football. Or i wouod go into the garden with them and play a ball game. If it was a rainy day outside i would get out the broad games and have a games day. I would also take the time to chat to them about their day.

You got me.I really don't know what will I do.Maybe just chatting. You might don't believe it,I don't talk much with my parents,or I should say they are too busy to talk with me.Recently things got better between me and my father. When I got home,we chat if he had nothing to do.But my mother ,she seems to be busy all the time.Even if she is free, she doesn't chat with me either.

My 4 year old recently told me she wants to become an artist, we went out and purchased some blank canvas' and some paints and let her go to town. Now her art is showcased in her bedroom, not only did we do it together and make a big deal about shopping for supplies but she accomplished something she wanted so badly.
