 i have never been to canada. wondered how many of y'all had been to tennessee? i know they are bound to be nice olaces to be. everyone that i have received a message from seems so nice & friendly. y'all all have a good day. i wondered if any of u are into antiwues. i had a shop for a little over 10 years. would be interested in what u collect. antiquelady

2.  OreoCookie3 (13266) | 4 months ago |  Hi Antiquelady, I'm so glad you are on my friends list. I've never been to Canada either... but I have been to Tennessee. I've been to Dollywood at Pigeon Forge.. and I've been to other resort areas there.
My grandfather used to be into antiques. He used to have an antique room where he had all kinds of things collected. I remember him giving me an antique car.. it was a toy car and you peddled it.. but it looked like a sports car of the day.... it was really old and I was given it to play with in 1955, and it was old then. I wish I had that thing now.. I think it was a Plymouth model or something.. He had all kinds of antique furniture in his antique room... there was an old rocker that was very thick and big.. I remember being a child that it was huge to me.. I thought a giant had to sit in it... i have no idea what kind of antique it was, but I remember having some of grandpa's antiques in our home as a child.

| 4. AmbiePam (10247) | 3 months ago |  I love Tennessee! I have been there many times, and if I had to move to another state, it would be Tennessee. My mom used to live there for a couple years growing up, and I know she feels the same way. It's just beautiful and breathtaking.

There is really not much to do there if you are not into country music or just staying at home or going to see Graceland and Beale street. I was in Memphis. Yeah, I was used to living by the beach and going into the big city for dinner, dancing, etc. and going to amusement parks - Disneyland, Disneyworld, Universal, etc. There is nothing even remotely close to that in Memphis, TN. Most people in TN seemed happy though but it just was not for me. What part of TN do you live in Antiquelady? I am guessing maybe Central or East TN? In all the years I never searched for antiques in TN, but I do like depression glass and celluloid items. Take care.

| ANTIQUELADY (1293) | 3 months ago | i am very proud to be from tennessee altho i would not want to live in memphis. i did for awhile but there is too much crime there. you must be city girl but can't believe u could not find something to to make u happy. i live in nw tennessee in a small college town. it's where i was born & it's where i'll die & wouldn't want it any other way.searching for antiques in tennessee & memphis would have been something for you to do. i'm very happy to be from tennessee. | |

I've been to Canada...but haven't been to Tennessee. We have plans on going to Tennessee in the next few years. We HAVE to go see ELVIS.....or at least Graceland.
I know there are thousands of other things to see there. I can hardly wait.
LOVE antiques too. We also had a shop that had a few antiques. My home has a few. I'm not much into collecting. I just buy what I like. Course at my age, everything I have is p'urt near antique. lol
