And, the calculator they have on IRS site http://www.irs.gov/app/espc/ said we were getting less than what the articles and such said (the articles said $1200 per couple, plus $300 for each child). In the end, we received what the calculator said. :(
But, it's better than nothing, so who can complain, right?
We have gone back and forth on what we will do- spend, save, etc. I do know I am getting a new cappuccino machine with part of it, but not much as I have some saved up and I am getting an entry level semi-automatic so it's not like it's hundreds and hundreds of dollars or anything.
I just hadn't seen anyone post (or heard anyone I know say) they'd actually received theirs, so I thought I through it out there that they are arriving.

That's good to know. Since my ssn ends with a high number, I don't expect to see mine until late next week (assuming the time tables reported are correct) but it is good to know that someone has actually received theirs. Will look forward to it with anticipation now. Thanks for sharing.

that sucks if you get lower then what we were told, i had done the calculation thru h&r blcok it gave me $900.00 then i found the irs.gov link that siad it was expected to be $1200. it so stated by its by the last 2 digits of your social mines was suppose to be no later than may 9th, today is may 9th and zip nutting in my bank account. i really dont like dealing with irs, they are quick to take your tax money but it not the same to give it back...i'lll let my mylotter know when i get it........
