Do you shop for clothes at second hand shops?

Thrift stores are my favorite places to shop for clothes. You don't know what you're going to find, and it's so inexpensive. I do it just to save money, also because it's pointless to buy brand new clothing for children. Kids are so rough on their clothes, and they grow so fast, if you buy new it's a waste of money.
I'll buy new underwear and socks, and new shoes for them, but the only child who ever gets brand new clothes is the oldest, and that's only because I can save his clothes and pass them down to his 3 younger brothers, so I get tons of use out of it.
I try to with used clothes to, if it survives that long.

I buy many of clothes from a local consignment shop. It's great because I get top name brand jeans for less than half the cost. I can buy Abercrombie jeans for 10 dollars (as opposed to over $50). And the consignment shop only takes clothes that are in excellent condition. Also I don't think many people know that this consignment store has clothes like that. It mostly sells home goods like china, furniture, decor, etc. But if you go upstairs into a little room they have it packed with awesome clothing.

I have tried the thrift stores around town, but I never can seem to find my size, plus most of the clothing at the thrift stores has stains or rips on them. But I see nothing wrong with wearing and recycling used clothing, I think it's a wonderful and easy way to the help the environment.

I love to shop at second-hand and thrift stores. You can find some really nice clothes there for a great price. I don't buy used shoes either, they have to be new. I don't know why, I am just that way.

I will buy sometimes at the second hand shops. Sometimes you can find brand new clothes from the expensive stores there for a lot less. Those places are the best to look.

I love to shop second hand, too. I haven't bought clothes in a long time, though. I have been having a hard time finding anything I like around here. I buy a lot of household items and other things, though. I think it's better to buy second hand and reuse than buy new!

I love shopping at thrift shops not only for the clothes but they have some good things,some get rid of things and dont have a clue what they are really worth.

Well my clothes are hard to find because of my size and I never find them at second hand stores, but people either buy me clothes or give me second hand clothes so I am happy.

Hi raydene! Yes, I do sometimes buy on second hand shops but at this time, I have not been doing any shopping because I am really on a very tight budget. haha.. Yes, the majority of my wardrobe is "pre-owned", as the used car salesmen like to say... I have narrow feet, but sometimes manage to get shoes in mint condition that fit. I once managed to get a pair of brand new Rockport walking shoes at Value Village. I still have them but I think this is the last year for them.

I love going to the second hand store. Not just for the clothes, but they have dishes, books, and some small appliances like toasters and such. So if I need something like that I go there. As a matter of fact i'm going next week with a friend.
