What do you do in waiting rooms?

So you're one of the chatty one's. If we we're in the waiting room together, I would probably see you start smiling at me, so I'd duck back into my magazine, occasionally peeking out to see if you we're still looking, LOL! I actually don't find it easy having a conversation in a waiting room, I don't know why that is!

Yep, gum, I usually give my chewy a real workout in the waiting room, I think it stops my jaw from clenching from my impatience of waiting, LOL! Do you ever do the crossword while you're waiting?

Yeah chewing gum is good habit in waiting, and if u r in angry mood u can shew hard

i am not much into talking, well i never tried cross word, i better like reading, and watching is not bad too, if some gorgeous are around.

I like crosswords, but I don't think I could concentrate enough in the waiting room to do one. I don't chat much either, but it is nice to look around sometimes.

That's one thing I try to remember to do is take a novel when I know I'm going to have a wait, but somehow, I always forget. That's why I'm stuck doing all those other things,LOL!

Sounds like you use most of the features of your mobile phone. Playing games would certainly be a good one for passing the time. As for the beautiful girl, that may work for me, unless my wife catches me checking her out, LOL!

Most times there is something boring on the telly, so playing games on your cell phone is a great way to pass the time. So when you 'catch' someone looking at you, do you keep looking at them, or go back to your game?

I usually look at them for a few seconds, think "what's so interesting over here?" and then go back to my game

They might just be curious about what game is keeping you so interested, LOL!

Playing games on the mobile phone seems to be a popular thing. As for the mags, there's only so many times you can look through them, and a lot are all pretty much the same.

Medical waiting rooms are definitely places I avoid as much as possible, but sometimes it can't be helped. You like to look around to see how others are? That would probably mean that when I came out from hiding behind my magazine, I'd see you looking at me, LOL! I also tend to be a worrier, and there doesn't need to be a good reason, just being in the doctors waiting room is enough. Hubby tears up his finger nails? Is that with his teeth? I nibble mine a bit when I'm feeling anxious.

yup! the man loves to tear up his finger nails using his teeth and fingers, drives me crazy and i honestly gave up hoping he will stop it someday. oh well i love him anyway!

Ok,jairgirl, I'll leave my nails alone just because you asked me so nicely, LOL! I seem to go through stages where they grow really well, and other times my nails are virtually non existent. Oh, well, I'll keep working on it.

yeah my husband is the same it takes him years to have it grow well, i met him with almost no fingernails at all but oh well i love him anyway despite his love for it's taste haha!

That can be the hard thing, finding a magazine that's interesting. As for the tv, I was in a waiting room the other day, and there was a kids show on! No kids in the room! So yeah, back to the mag.

I know what you mean about kids helping the time to fly. My son's just started school at the start of the year, so I can no longer take him to my appointments just for the sake of breaking the boredom, LOL! His teachers wouldn't be impressed.

Complimentary internet would definitely pass the time really quickly, and the cell phone does certainly get a work out for lots of people. By the way, sorry about your Mama.
