Do you make up everyday?  

I do wear makeup everyday even if I don't work. I like haveing my skin look even as I am older and aging takes a toll on the skin. I would suggest going to a department store and having them give you a lesson on how to wear it and what colors are best for you. THat would set you in the right direction and after that you can play around and find your own style that you like best for your face.

I wear makeup almost every day. Most of the time just eye liner, mascarra, and foundation. I always use my skin care products. On days where I have meetings or I am going out I use it all foundation, eye shadow, mascarra, eye liner, blush, lip liner and lipstick.

well I don't wear makeup everyday, but I love makeup and sometimes I really just want to look nice (so I know where you're coming from).

To start, any time you're going to wear makeup, start with a clean face--wash your face with a gentle cleanser and then pat it dry with a towel, and use a face moistureizer (cetaphil is what i use).
Then I'd just suggest maybe a VERY thin layer of liquid foundation on your face--be sure to blend it down into your neck and near your ears and hairline (so you don't get an affect that looks like you're wearing a mask lol)!! Then you can set it with a thin layer of powder, a bronzer close to your skin tone is good for summer! Just lightly across your whole face :]

If you want to, you can use a blush :] I like ones that are a little more orange than pink/mauve, at least for spring/summertime. Smile, and put it on the "apples" (the part of your cheeks below your eyes, and to either side of your nose that "push up" when you smile) of your cheeks, blending it so it looks natural.

Finish it off with a little mascara and tinted lipgloss and you're good to go! This technique works on ALL skintones, I've done it on myself and countless friends, and its a really nice fresh, natural daytime look :]

Hello benben,I advice you start with simple and light makeup like some gloss,powder,eye shadow and mascara.

I pay attention to my eyes more than anything else. I don't wear foundation or blush. The only make up I use is mascara, eyeliner, eye shadow and I use a pencil on my eyebrows. On my lips I would usually wear lip gloss, you know the one's that have color to it. That's about it.

Try the new mineral makeups. They are light and easy to apply. You just brush them on. They even out your skin tone and give you as much or as little coverage as you need. Since you brush it on, it only takes a few minutes. It is very smooth and airy feeling. It helps you look made up without having to exert any real effort. it is very natural looking.
