What was the last movie you saw at the cinema?  | |  It seems that DVD is causing us to stay home and watch a movie causing cinema theatres to close. So, I wondered what was the last movie you saw at a cinema? What did you think of it?
As for mine, it was Sweeney Todd: Demon Barber of Fleet Street. Johnny Depp was wonderful in it. He was adept at singing, full of brooding charisma, and ever complex.

There are some films that can only be fully realised on the big cinema screen, and that's why I went to see Sweeny Todd. The theatre of it; the histrionics of the maniac in it are such that its almost operatic format required a large screen. I found the same with King Kong. | |
