I love Ivy, but this is ridiculous.

I know this has happened to everyone in their life at one point, so I am not alone. I love gardening and working in the yard. Every year when the weather warms up and the greenery starts to bloom the Ivy comes out to haunt me, and I am referring to Poison Ivy here. I am highly sensitive to this very resilient plant. Last year I tried to rid my property or at least the portion by my house of the tough thing, but like a bad cold it came back. And here I am in the worst condition ever with it. It has turned me into a monster, LOL. Or at least I feel that way. It is so bad that even with the Benedryl topical cream (Thank God for whoever invented that little medical miracle) and Calamine lotion that my leg feels like it is on fire at one point throughout the day. ANd i notice at certain times it is unbearable unless I itch it. And I know, I know I am not supposed to itch it. But it feels soooooo good when you do. I swear sometimes it's better than well you know.... Anyways, have you ever had the Ivy so bad you want to just rip your skin off from scratching....not literally speaking but Have you?
