I am not afraid of death because it is something that everyone has to go through. I am afraid of suffering though.

I like how you put that. "I am scared to death of getting old and dying". Sorry, but I found it a pun. Anyway, I'm sort of scared of death, but not really. I'm scared of being alone, for the most part. If I were very sick, I'd probably welcome death, and wish for it for a while. But, since I'm not, I am sort of scared, mainly because I don't know what will happen to my children.

im not really scared of death as of such but yeah im scared of gettin old.... i wanna die when im around 60....and painlessly.... cos i have a living example in my house right now... i have my grandmom... who is such a pain to us and her self..... she's totally paralized and lost her mind too... she keeps forgetting and doesnt wanna listen to us when we try telling her somethhin...she sleeps the entire day and stays awake in the night....screamin....and crying...and every two mins she calls out to my mom to give her the bed pan and to bring the doc.... i could go on... but im really scared of goint hru the same thing that she's gon thru right now

No, I am not afraid of death. But, I don't like the aging part.

When he was sixteen, my son asked me two questions. Seeking and finding the answers became the second biggest life changing event of my life. Sure, I answered his questions, but I wasn't satisfied with the answers..

But yes, I don't look forward to leaving my family until I have [#1] paid any bills I have, or have enough insurance to bury me and pay my bills, and [#2] done the things I think I should accomplish, and [#3] I want to die when my husband is too old to be much interested in a new wife:)) can't help it.. wanna be his only wife in the resurrection.

The two questions my son asked? He was being bitter and said, "why did God put the tree of knowing good and evil in the garden? (and) "isn't it great we get to be an ant farm..? - Well, I realized we're not an ant farm, and that's the very reason why life is difficult and the world is as it is.. But how great is that? Next, as soon as man and angel were endowed with thinking ability (and choice) a whole new world (or tree) of possibilities 'came to be' and God only being able to be true, and honest, well, there was that tree in the garden.. and how wonderful, that God isn't creating an ant farm.. he's creating the best, a family.. and has done all things in order to bring about the best possible of outcomes.. the best 'end' result. I'm not afraid, I've come to understand that God is life itself (of course) and also Perfect.. to be life/alive, he can only be Excellent.. and ultimately, life can only be perfect..

I'm not scared to die. Everybody has there time. I am scared to death of the idea of leaving my husband and children behind and how they would have to deal.

I am not afraid of death. But I admit I am afraid of how I go and when I go... I always want to do more. I been hit by lightning, and I remember joing with the Spirits I closed my spirit eyes and asked to live to do railroad work and spirit work. Death is nothing to fear, It is just part of change. Everything and everyone will go through this change in some way. People fear it because they fear what will happen in the afterlife, or fear where they will go or will not go. There is so much there, everyone will go where they choose to, and even those who are lost for awhile, will recieve the help they need. Never fear death, maybe fear the situation that brings it on. People when they are dying their bodies show so much pain, even more then they realise... Others may feel alot of pain and suffering, if you do view this as cleansing, and remember you will never again have to suffer again, after you pass over, well unless you choose to, as its all like a big day dream you can do anything over there, as long as you complete your life and living here.
