Dog B is taking over dog A's puppies

I have a little situation going on here.
I have Boston Terriers and one had puppies 2 1/2 weeks ago. Heres the thing.
Dog A had the puppies and she is a wonderful mother. She snapped at dog B while she was having them so for dog B's safty, we put her in the kennel for two weeks.
We brought dog B back in on Sunday since dog A seemed to have mellowed out a bit.
To make a long story short, B is now spending a lot of time with the puppies to the point where the pups are attempting to nurse from her.
I have heard that a dog can lactate with stimulation and produce milk even though they have never been pregnant.
The weird thing is, B is such a sweet happy girl, she will be a year old in June. She actually growled at A when she attemped to feed her own puppies.
So far I haven't noticed A neglecting her pups.
Would you just leave it alone and keep an eye on them or put B back in the kennel.
Also, A, had nine pups, she has 8 teats. Which wasn't a problem in the begining. My husband said we might need to supplement the milk since they will require more as they grow.
Now I'm thinking B might be of help if she starts producing milk.
I would appreciate some input
