Best american president

I know about them. they are legends and all time greatest. But what abt these two?

Bush has done nothing to be brought up on charges for. All he is guilty of is ignoring the problems with the gas prices until it has gotten out of hand. There are a few other things he should have handled differently, and he is an idiot to say the least, but (unfortunately) he has committed no criminal act. America, and the rest of the world, will be suffering the consequences for him failing to act on more than one issue for years to come.

He has had more than one opportunity to do things to help the people of this country in the past and he has failed to act. The bill that he vetoed that would have placed a limit on how much drug companies could have charged for medicines and how much doctors could charge for medical procedures comes to mind. He let is slide claiming that economics and competition between the companies and the doctors would keep the prices from going any higher. What he should have done was sign the bill and stopped companies from charging hundreds of dollars for medicines. This would have been a great benefit to the poorer people and the uninsured.

Economically, Clinton was a better president. However, he failed to act when terrorist attacked an American warship (USS COLE). He was a gutless bast*rd as a military leader. One thing I will compliment Bush on is that he sent troops to Iraq to get Saddam and finished what his dad didn't have the stones to finish when our guys were there in Desert Storm.

Overall, neither one of them were worth a crap as presidents. One did well with the economy, one was a good military leader. Neither of them were good at both. I didn't vote in the election when Bush got elected the first time. I DID vote for Bush in the second election, but that was only because I didn't want John Kerry elected, so I voted for the lesser of two evils. I knew Bush was worthless when he was elected the first time, because I have friends in Texas who filled me in on the job he did there as governor.

Unfortunately, neither of the candidates we have to choose from in this election are going to be good for this country either. McCain barely has enough common sense to tie his shoes. God help us if Obama or Hilary get elected. Either way, I think things are going to get a lot worse in this country before it gets any better.

I have yet to meet a perfect person. We all make mistakes, but too much is credited to those that govern, and people tend to look past their faults, and give more leniency when in reality, these people should be held accountable for their actions, or lack there of.

Even George Washington and Thomas Jefferson had slaves...

Then you believe it's okay for him to set up contracts in Iraq. Working with Terrorists, sending more American money over there? Any economic contribution to any TERRORISTS IS A CRIMINAL ACT!

Not to mention, he went and removed Saddam, yes, he made Iran stronger than they could ever believe was possible. How is that for the security of Isreal? So many of these issues, I don't even agree with the initial basis, and yet I still see Bush's continued contradictions.

And how many of these soldiers do you know that are getting the benefits that they were promised, for defending their country? People are fulfilling their ends of contracts, and the government is working to make sure they don't have to fulfill theirs.

yes. whatever your saying is correct. but a country's president should work for the wealth of his country first. then bush did the right. am i correct?

Is not just him, all of those who work around him, family, so called friends, and others so called leaders around the world. They all looking for power, dominating the world, oil, and whatever else they can get therir hands on; but they have forgotten something. Everything on earth, belongs to the Lord, and after the second coming; nothings will be left. And what will be left;!That will be nothing¡ belongs to the evil one, and those who wasn't saved will also stay, so they can keep him company, becuse his afraid of darkness.!It's time to work on being saved, and save others.
