Hi, could you talk something about your first job? | | When I got my first job, I still couldn't believe it was true. It was so incredible that they would accept an imployee with no experience to be a technical assistant of electronic industry. When I sent my resume, I was so hesitated that the position requires 5 years' working experience. My Mom encouraged me to have a try. Several days later, the project manager called me and asked me to have a telephone interview first. I was too tesional to talk in normal speed. I even had a little bit stammer! To my surprise, he asked to have a face to face talk the second day. When I saw him next day, my tension was completely disappeared. He is a very easy-going man. He told me it was no necessary to be nervous. He just chated with me. Finally, he asked me whether I was interested at this job. I told him yes, but I had no experience and no electronic background. He smiled and asked me whether mind visiting the general manager. Later, I came to the general manager's office, to my greater office, he is also a very nice man. We still just chat like old friends. Then, he told me they would send me offer soon. Oh, my god! I was to happy to be striken by a chair leg at that moment!

I was told of the job fair on one night and I attended the seminar the next day. In the afternoon of that same day I took an exam and was interviewed. The night on that day, the one who interviewed me made a call and told me that I'm hired already. The experience was overwhelming because I took the exam with those who really have that major related to the job while I was not. I soon discovered that I was the one who got the highest score and was the only one who continued on working with the company who interviewed me.

wrangel15 (414) | 4 months ago | Yes, many graduates at this time find it hard to find jobs especially those on their major. But in the Information Technology industry, the demand is very high in my country. I grateful to have the company who hired me. My company is a good one.:)

There was a wonderful Chinese restaurant near my school, and they hired me to make deliveries on my bicycle. It was fun, mostly because, back then, there was no danger. People were friendly and kind, and the tips were great. I must admit, though, after about six months I couldn't stand to smell Chinese food, let alone eat it! In fact, it was a good 7 or 8 years before I had Chinese food again. Of course, it was an American version of Chinese food. The cooks wouldn't eat it, because they said it was American junk. I always wondered what people in China eally eat.
