If your child's teacher told you that she fussed at your child... What, then....

I suppose my first question would be what did my child do? Then if she had cause I would stand behind the teacher. If it could have been handled differently I would tell the teacher that as well. I think her being honest about it is great.

I would make sure that the reasoning was fair and it didn't get escalated. That is fine as long as she was respectful. Of course i would talk to my child about it too to see what went on. But, during school hours they are responsible for these kids and have to disipline them in some way.

I agree with both of your responses it is one of those things that has to be handle with care,and it all depends on the child and what they did and just how harsh the teacher was,but i would most definitely talk with my ckild then the teacher and then both of them together.

I guess I would have to find out what my child did. If he/she did something that they needed to be scolded for then I am not going to have much of a problem with it. If I find out she did it and my child didn't do anything wrong, I might call and have a talk with her. Or if she told me she yelled at my child I would certainly ask her why she did it.
