Acer is one of the cheapest.
But with bad quality.
Dell have quite great prices and very good quality

Mine is a Neo laptop given to me by my company. It's cheap already compared to the prices of other brands such as Dell, Tohiba, compaq or ibm. The specs are cool actually despite its inexpensive price. It has 80gb hard drive, 1gig memory, dvd drive, cd burner, with a built in web cam and mic. How cool is that?

Hi well I do not know anything much about the specs etc,bt the cheapest latop that I have seen advertised has been Asda/wallmart and it was £299 gbp,which is a good price,maybe the laptop is a basic one,but unless you are a computer geek or a wizard do you need a high spec one,I had one that cost me nearly eight hundred pounds,a present,I did not buy it myself,and it lasted me just under three years and the mother board went wrong

I think Chinese laptops are cheap because, their costs of production seems cheap too!

I personally have had very good luck with Dell. They are not too expensive and their technology seems to really be good. I have had good luck with both of my dell computers. I would be reluctant to try another brand for that reason.
