1. Oxford
Primarily for PPE (Politics, Philosophy and Economics). You could also do Economics and Management.
2. LSE (London School of Economics) offer economics in most courses they offer. Economics being their main thing, I guess they have a pretty good setup and attract good staff. This means you'll live in London too. (You may love this or hate this. Either way, be aware it's very expensive.)
10003. Cambridge
I think they might offer something that vaguely passes muster as an academic degree.
4. Warwick
Very modern uni. I think they have a fairly good Economics department.

I think Oxford is one of the best universities not only in UK, but also in the world.
I love China

University of Essex. I was told that the Dept of Account and Economics are among the best in Europe.
Moreover, the landscape, environment and neighbourhood there was very good, it adds up to my good experience in staying in UK. Even after leaving UK for 10 years, i do miss my time there.
