In 1936, Margaret Mitchell's epic of the Civil War, Gone with the Wind, was published. I saw the movie first and then read the book. I enjoyed both. It is a tough call to say which was my favorite, because they were both beautifully done. Do you have a favorite part of either the book or the movie?

I love the part in which they were dancing, and when the girl said that she will never ever be hungry again.I also can't forget the part when the man said,Frankly my dear

saw the movie but havent read the book yet. im still looking for it until now. unfortunately. i loved every part of the movie. i love scarletts character, shes really a strong minded, independent woman. she does have a bad side to her like being hard headed which lead to her break up with rhett... oh well... it turned out to be a good book and movie anyways. lol.. and i love rhett too.. and when played by clark gable! oh my god! lol

Clark was definitely something in his day. I want to read the book that came out about him, supposedly it takes place before Gone with the Wind. It is on my reading list. Thanks for the response.

I have watched the movie but it has been years ago since I seen it. I do not remember a whole lot about it to tell you my favorite part of it. I am not much of a reader so I never did read the book either. I cannot recall much of the movie or who plays in it anything like that right now.

I liked both movie and a book and I can't say if I have a favourite part cause I think that book is amazing. But I first saw movie and it was in the cinema and I still have unforgetable impressions.

Thanks for the response. I would have loved to seen it on a big movie screen not just a TV screen.
