i think celtics will win the series, thaey dominated the eastern conference and all of their hard work will be put to nothing if they dint win the conference finals, sam cassell can contain chauncy billups. i predict that if kevin garnett performs well enough, the celtics will win the series in 6 games.

All the so-called experts, Stephen A. Smith, Jon Barry, even Michael Wilbon had Detroit going into Boston for Game 1, and stealing the home-court advantage. Albeit, the Pistons can still succeed in doing so by winning Thurs.'s Game 2 at Boston. But now the so-called experts are back peddling. All except for Stephen A. Smith who is just flat-out a Boston hater from Philadelphia. Instead, of looking at what Boston did well, he wants to harp on what Detroit did wrong. They didn't contest Rajon Rondo's jump shots. Atlanta, and Cleveland didn't either, but in those series it was Rondo needs to prove he can make those shots. The fact of the matter is Rondo passed up several open jumpers in Game 1 making the extra pass, or going in for a lay-up, but instead of giving any Boston player their props, Stephen A. instead want to discredit Boston by discrediting Detroit's Defense. Okay, like I've been saying all along, only time will tell. I'm like Garnett in his post-game comments in regards to dealing Rasheed. I'm staying humble as a fan because anything can happen between these two teams in the next game. During the regular season Detroit went into Boston and won, and vice versa. I don't neccessarily hate Stephen A. Smith, but there's no question that he hates Boston. The Celtics, and Red Sox. Hopefully, if by the grace of the basketball gods Boston can cap the season with a victory over the Lakers(Stephen A.'s team) maybe then, and only then he will stop hating, and start congratulating. However, first things first maintaining home-court advantage in Boston Thursday night. See ya'll in Boston. Go Celtics!!!
